haven’t done anything in a quile. Focusing more on studying and doing hw. So during summer break ill try to make more stuff.
One question, I don't want to criticize your work, the assets you created are perfect, I just want to point out one thing, on the board, the numbers and letters should be mirrored, right? for example, on one side the numbers would go from 1 to 8 in the player's view, and on the other side they would be inverted, the same with the letters, the order changes, otherwise it doesn't make much sense to have the same thing on both sides, apart from this the assets are very good.
yes that is one minor mistake I made, but I suppose if you’re creating a multiplayer game like chess.com, then the mirrored letters dont really matter. (Unless you’re making the board a texture on a 3-d plane, then that would matter)
the numbers should not be mirrored right? A1 is A1 regardless of what side of the board you are sitting on.

It’s when you’re on your opponents side and their starting pawn moves two spaces forward to get beside your pawn, you can then cut in, thus taking your opponent’s piece
